Caitlin's Wedding

Wedding #3 has taken place. Our busy summer of weddings is officially over. They were all very fun! I know we won't have a summer like this again. Caitlin got married on July 11th. We went to Pocatello a few days early to do all the preparation and hang out with her a few days before she was gone on a honeymoon. Karalee Hughes and her husband Mike did all the food for the recpetion and she also made the wedding cake. She doesn't usually do cakes but she did for Caitlin. The Hughes were our neighbors in Pocatello, when we spend time with them we remember how much fun it was living right next door. Mom, Lanae, Whitney, Caitlin and I went over to Karalee's the night before to get a few things and we ended up staying and watching as Karalee finished the cake. She said she wanted our advise on putting it together. We laughed alot and stayed up really late. It turned out great. I have to tell you a quick story behind the pears on top of the cake. Mom, Caitlin and Ryan were looking for wedding invitations. They were looking online to see what was out there. Well, Ryan saw one that had two pears and said "the perfect pair". That is what Ryan wanted. He didn't get that for the invitation, but he did get it on the cake! We went to the temple on Saturday morning for the sealing. The weather cooperated so we had sunshine for pictures. We went to a church in Idaho Falls for lunch and then we headed back to Pocatello for the reception. Caitlin had a cowgirl theme at her reception. (She even got a few pictures on her horse) All the girls wore cowgirl boots and denim skirts. Then each of the boys and the little girls had bright shirts and ties. The decorations looked really good. It was very fitting for Caitlins personality. Like always it is fun to sit and visit with old friends and family. We ate a lot of food (it seems like I have been saying that a lot this summer) and just enjoyed the evening. Hailey cought the bouquet. Her and Malerie were right in the front and Caitlin didn't throw it too far so it was right in their reach. It has been a few weeks and it is still hard for me to believe Caitlin is married. She is the sweetest girl. If our girls turn out like her, we are two lucky parents.
